Kentucky Explorers Visit the National Storytelling Center
October 22-26, 2018
Rally to Jonesborough, TN,
National Storytelling Center, 5-days & 4-nights
There is a Storyteller-in-Residence program that runs from April until the end of October with daily, one-hour programs.
Jonesborough is not only the Nat’l Center for Storytelling it’s also scenic, unique, and filled with history and charm; it is the home of Davy Crockett as well.
Note the link below for the Storyteller-in-Residence program.
There are storytelling programs all summer and Fall.
In late October, the autumn leaves should be colorful and the weather cooler, plus it is less crowded.
I have reservations for 10-rigs at a local Church at $30 @ night for boon docking. It’s so convenient.
It’s a short stroll to the performances, shopping, restaurants, historical sites etc. There’s wonder bed & breakfast available nearby too.
There are campgrounds $45+ that are 10-15 miles away (one way). For a listing of other campgrounds, bed & breakfast, & hotels email: firstname.lastname@example.org
