Virginia State Rally

The Virginia State WIT Rally, "Welcome to the Old Dominion," will be held September 14-16, 2018 at the Meadow Event Center located at 13048 Dawn Blvvd, Doswell, VA 23047 (near Kings Dominion).
This is the birthplace of the thoroughbred horse Secretariat, who was born here in 1970. We will have the opportunity to take the "Hoofprints of History Tour" and walk the same grounds where the immortal Secretariat was born and raised. Hear how Christopher Chenery transformed his ancestral home place into a renowned thoroughbred farm and how his daughter Penny took his dream to unprecedented heights, first with Riva Ridge and then "Americas Super Horse," Secretariat.

We are planning a "pot luck" dinner for Thursday night to be followed by Bingo.
The rally fee for two nights will be $180, which includes two nights of camping, catered dinners on Friday and Saturday night, a catered breakfast on Saturday, and a continental (grab 'n go) breakfast on Sunday. Fee for singles is $135. For early arrivals prior to the rally, sites will be available for $40 a night. However, we will not be able to stay over on Sunday due to the event center preparing for the state fair.

Oregon State Rally

“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS, COME ONE, COME ALL TO THE GREATEST SHOW ON WHEELS.”
You are invited to the 2018 Oregon State Rally dedicated to the fun of the Circus and the RV Lifestyle. Polk County Fairgrounds, 520 Pacific Highway, Rickreall, OR. (just west of Salem, OR) All owners of Winnebago Industries RV’s are invited to join in as we greet old friends and make new ones.
This year’s rally begins Wednesday afternoon with the First-timers’ orientation. All attendees are then invited to a no-host “get acquainted” dinner at a local restaurant.
The rally includes 4 nights camping with water and electric at each spot, and a dump facility is available at the fairgrounds. We have an amazing caterer who will be preparing 3 delicious dinners. There will be 3 continental breakfasts as well. Lunch will be available Friday and Saturday at the fairgrounds snack bar for a reasonable cost. Friday evening is our circus themed dinner with great entertainment and fun costumes for all who wish to dress up.
Consider arriving a day or two early as we are putting together some interesting activities around the Salem, Oregon area. Watch for details.
As always, we will have several exhibits, as well as seminars and classes devoted to the RV lifestyle. Our major supporter, Guaranty RV will be providing a selection of the latest and greatest Winnebago’s as well as presenting an RV driving class. You don’t want to miss this opportunity.
This year we have several new events as well as the return of some of our most popular. We will be offering a Chocolate Candy class hosted by our own “chocolatier” Pearl Lewman.
Something new this year are a couple of craft classes. With the assistance of a professional artist, prepare your own masterpiece. Watch for details as space is limited.
After a delicious dinner Saturday evening, our rally will conclude with awards and drawings, and door prizes.
Registration is $185 per unit (2), single, $145. Pre-rally camping Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night is $25 per night. After September 1 include a $30 late fee.
After receiving your registration, you will receive a confirmation, as well as updates to provide current details as the rally gets closer.

New York State Rally

The NYS EXCELSIOR WINNIES would like to invite any and all WIT CLUB MEMBERS to the NEW YORK STATE WIT CLUB RALLY in LAKE GEORGE NEW YORK. The rally will take place at the LAKE GEORGE ESCAPE RV RESORT on SEPT 20-23 2018.
Come and enjoy all the beautiful fall splendor that the ADIRONDACK MOUNTAINS have to offer. Our theme this year is: “BASEBALL, AN AMERICAN TRADITION”. Be sure to dress to represent your favorite teams! May it be local or national!
There will be door prizes, 50/50, raffle’s, trivia, ice cream social ,and live entertainment. Rally’s R Us (Chip) will be on site and available for service. In addition, we will be featuring tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), courtesy of Mitch & Sandie Loiselle of the Vermont Lake Champlain Wit Club!
Our eastern area representatives, STEWART AND TAMMY SMITH will be on hand to answer all your WIT CLUB questions.
The RV PARK sits just 10 minutes from the beautiful and historical VILLAGE OF LAKE GEORGE. Free shuttle service is available to/from the campground . Enjoy quaint village shopping or hit the OUTLET STORES just a few minutes south of the village. Have lunch at one of the many eateries and restaurants or take a lunch cruise!
Tour the historical FORT WILLIAM HENRY or just take a scenic cruise on the majestic LAKE GEORGE. The campground also has a heated pool and on site cafe with nightly entertainment. Your possibilities are endless!
The cost will be $250 per two person unit and $200 for a one person unit. $50 per additional person. This includes 3 nights on a 30 amp full hookup site. Shower facilities are also available. Also included will be 2 CATERED BREAKFASTS AND 2 CATERED DINNERS. There will be a POTLUCK DINNER on arrival day. Lunches will be on your own. Any early birds , include $36 for each additional night of stay.

Ohio State Rally
September 20-23, 2018
Woodstock 1969! It was all about the music, peace and love. Think about Jim Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Joe Cocker, Santana, and the Who. Dust off your tie dye shirt and bell bottom trousers and join us to remember the original and create “Woodstock the Sequel”.
We will provide live music entertainment on Friday night with T.J. and Tim Gang and Saturday night with the Pop Tarts. In addition, there will be great food, seminars, games, local tours, and craft classes. Your old friends and those that you have yet to meet will be waiting.
Richland County Fairgrounds is located at 750 Home Road N, Mansfield, OH 44906. The telephone number is 419-747-3717. The campground has 30 amp electric and shared water. There are 2 dump stations. Three nights of camping is included with your registration fee. Additional nights are $20 per night. If you need handicap parking, please advise the parkers on arrival. If you want to park together, please arrive together.
Directions: From I-71 take Exit 176 to US-30 toward Mansfield/Mid Ohio; go 7.5 miles and take the Trimble Road EXIT; turn right on Trimble Road; take the first left turn onto W Longview Avenue; go 1 mile and turn right onto Home Road N; go 0.2 miles and turn right into the fairground’s West Gate entrance.
Rally Fee: For those who register before September 1, the fee for the rally will be $175 for one unit/2 persons and $ 125 for one unit/one person. After September 1, the fee will increase to $185 for one unit/2 persons and $135 for one unit/one person. Each additional person will be $50. Children age 12 and under are free. Fees are for 4 days/3 nights of camping and include two full breakfasts, one continental breakfast, and three dinners.

We are looking forward to having YOU attend our wonderful TEXAS State Rally, October 19-21 at Coushatte Recreation Ranch (www.coushatterv.com) in Bellville, TX! In a laidback ‘out on the farm’ environment, we’ll enjoy the luxury of plentiful trees to keep things cool and plenty of wonderful TEXAS Hospitality to keep things hot! We’ll have generous catered meals (desserts big enough to feed 4!), entertainment, familiar games (and some not so familiar) plus great companionship to make this another great event!
Come early and stay late – there is so much to do in Central TEXAS: Tour the Blue Bell Creamery plant and sample the superb ice cream. Visit Newman’s Castle or the Jail Museum. How about the blacksmith’s shop? Maybe the brewery is more your style?

The Louisiana Pelican Winnies invite you to join them for their 2018 Louisiana State Rally which will take place October 25 – 28, 2018 at the Rayne Civic Center in Rayne, LA in the Heart of Cajun Country. The theme for the Rally is - “THE CAJUNS ARE STIRRING THE POT -- COME PASS A GOOD TIME”. Now you know if the Cajuns are stirring the pot something good is happening and you definitely want to be in on that!!!!
As always we will have lots of fun activities planned for our guests including vendors, games, seminars, demonstrations, and classes, money, 50/50 raffles, bingo, and cakewalk. We will also have our usual silent auction, white elephant sale and new and used book sale and more. There will be entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights along with door prizes and, of course, some Lagniappe!! Pre-rally tours are planned for Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Thursday, Oct. 25. On Wednesday we will visit world famous Martin Accordions. There will be a discussion on accordion making and we will be treated to a musical history of Cajun and Zydeco music by the Martin family band. First timers will never forget their experience here and returnees will enjoy revisiting their Martin family friends even more!!! We will then travel to Kelly’s Landing which is a rice/crawfish farm where they will serve us a home cooked Cajun meal. While there we will get to see their John Deer Toy Museum, antique farm equipment, farm memorabilia collection and also enjoy a rice field/crawfish pond tour and best of all we’ll get to hear Kelly’s stories which are always a highlight of the tour!!! On Thursday, we will visit the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve’s Acadian Cultural Center where you will see a short film which interprets the story of the Acadians who settled the prairies, bayous, and marshes of southern Louisiana and their origins. Displays in the Acadian Cultural Center also tell their story. Their history, language, music and architecture are interpreted and the museum artifacts tell the story of everyday life in the region, then and now. See in detail a variety of aspects of the Acadians (Cajuns) rich culture within the exhibit area, from clothing, home furnishings, religion and cuisine, to recreation and oil discovery. We will then head down the road to Vermilionville, where we will be treated to a buffet meal consisting of several local dishes. We will then have time for a self-guided tour of the village which consists of several old family homes and buildings which have been moved to the village and restored recalling the history of the families and depicting their way of life in the 1800’s. Several local artisans and craftsmen will also be on hand demonstrating their particular talents. Sign up for tours when you arrive at the campground!!
Rally Fee: the fee for this rally will be $175 for one unit/2 persons who register before Oct. 1st and $185 after Oct. 1st. The fee for one unit/one person will be $130 before Oct. 1st and $140 after Oct. 1st. Each extra person will be $40. Children 12 and under are free. If you want to park together you must arrive together. Georgia State Rally
May 1 - 5, 2019
You are invited to attend our four day Georgia State Rally in a beautiful location in the mountains of north Georgia. Our theme for 2019 is "Wild Wild West". Come join us for a good time with live music, food, games and fun. Our rally location will be at Bald Mountain Camping Resort in Hiawassee, Georgia.
Our rally will take place Wednesday, May 1st through Sunday, May 5th. You can check in early to visit area attractions and go site seeing. Early activities include self guided side trips to nearby attractions.
Activities will include BINGO, games, ice cream social, auction, cake walk, mini golf tournament, pet parade and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday night with fun and dancing.
Our Rally fee is $75 per coach for 2 people or $37 per coach for 1 person and the cost for each additional person will be $37. This includes 2 catered dinners, hamburger cookout, hot dog lunch, 2 full breakfasts, and a continental breakfast.
You must make your reservation for your camp site for the days that you want to attend the rally directly with the Bald Mountain Camping Resort at http://www.baldmountainpark.com or 706-896-8896. The rate will be the prevailing rate minus 10% per day per campground site.
The RV resort’s policy is as follows; one night deposit will be paid when you make your reservation. They have a 7 day cancellation policy and a $6 cancellation fee. After you arrive you pay your balance in full. There are no refunds for early check out. Check in is at 1:00 p.m. and check out is at 12:00 p.m.
When making reservations, be sure to tell them you are with "the Georgia WIT Rally" to insure you get the rally rate. We encourage early reservations so that you can be close to the rally hall. Please make your reservation with the campground first and then send in the rally application.
