Friday evening Judy and Dick Radosevic provided a wonderful sweet treat of Alabama skillet cake with ice cream, followed by a wonderful campfire.
There was a pretty good turnout for the weekend. Those enjoying the campout were as follows: Nancie and Rick Stephenson, John Davis, Charlene and Aaron Zatik, Sandy and Marlin Geesaman, Larry and Carol Carraher, Margie Woods, Nancy and Mike Conley and grandchild Drace, Judy and Dick Radosevic and grandchildren Sophia and Anna, Jim Brown, Carol and Al Morrison joined us on Saturday.
Saturday morning John Davis treated everyone with his wonderful waffles topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. If you prefer the old standby, there was butter and syrup. Canadian bacon, juice, and coffee accompanied the waffles.
Some campers made some earrings, necklaces, and decorations for their RV with a Woodstock theme. Others explored the area, went swimming, road their bike, and some actually did laundry! A few campers enjoyed an afternoon power nap.
Evening dinner was enjoyed at Samantha’s Frontier Restaurant. A relaxing campfire concluded the day’s events.
Members enjoyed pasties, coffee, and juice for breakfast Sunday morning.
The weather did not cooperate for our usual weenie roast but it still was a wonderful weekend enjoyed by all.
