Virginia: Tidewater Tascas

September 07, 2017

April−What a wonderful busy month of camping. From Apr. 7-9, we traveled to North River Campground where our hosts were J.P. and Cheryl Martin. For Friday's dinner, we were treated to burgers and hot dogs with all the fixins'. How nice after a day of traveling and who doesn't love a burger or hot dog? So good to be with our Tasca friends. What a delightful group and nice to catch up with each of them. There were eleven coaches, so lots of chatter.

Saturday was our usual Tasca breakfast. This is always a real event. DELICIOUS! Afterward, our meeting was busy going over the camping schedule and our duties for the VA State Rally. President Neil Bennett said we are ordering new T-shirts so there was discussion about color and logo.

We were still full from breakfast, but the campground was having a "pig pickin." But we all managed to make room for the special feast.

After an afternoon of walking the dogs and a nap, we gathered for soft tacos and any and everything to put on the beef and chicken. WONDERFUL!

With a grateful thanks to J.P. and Cheryl for a relaxing weekend, we said our goodbyes and safe travels to all.
