November−Five coaches attended the campout at the KOA at Lake Oklawaha in Ft. McCoy on Nov. 17-20. Those who attended were: Bruce Cinader, Richard Bock, Susie and Marvin King, J and Barb Thomas, and Virginia and Bob Larson.
Thursday night we had our happy hour in the clubhouse and then went to our coaches.
Friday six of us went on Captain Erika's "A Cruising Down the River" boat tour. It was a nice pontoon boat ride on the Ocklawaha River. Both on the way to and from the boat tour, a black bear ran across the road in front of us. Very exciting for those of us who never had that happen to them before.
For dinner, we ate at Bass Champions in Salt Springs. It is a local restaurant with good food and good service.
Saturday Barb and Susie road into Palatka and bought groceries for dinner.
We had happy hour, watched football, and played beanbag toss while dinner was cooking. We had lasagna and sides along with pecan and pumpkin pies.
Sunday morning we said our goodbyes with plans to meet in Bushnell at Paradise Oaks.
