The Florida State Winnie Gators (FSWG) invite all WIT members to our rally at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd, in lovely Sarasota, Florida. The rally theme is “Pajama Party” so come to opening ceremonies in your favorite bedtime attire, PJ’s, robe and slippers…just NO birthday suits, please!!
The rally kicks off on February 23 with opening ceremonies at 11:00 AM followed by a box lunch and 3 days of non-stop activities. Your registration fee of $250 ($235 for Florida State Winnie Gator members) includes: 3 nights camping with 30 amp electric and buddy water, RV dealers, vendors, professional entertainment by Patty Waszak and Entertainment Revue Show, games, prizes, Pet Parade, Arts & Crafts, and of course food: a row party sponsored by the Florida chapters, 2 catered dinners, 1 hot breakfast, 1 continental breakfast, ice cream social, and wine & cheese party.

Additional parking days are available, starting at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 21 at $30.00 per night. Handicapped parking is also available, with state decal. The fairgrounds has 4 dump stations available, and plans are in the works to provide a “honey wagon” on Friday, at a cost of approximately $30 per dump ticket. Note: Shower facilities at this fairgrounds are available, but very limited in number and very basic. A limited number of full hook-up sites are available for an extra fee of $40 and are assigned “first come, first serve,” based on postmark of the registration fees. See website for details.

MILWIT Eastern Area Rally
April 4-8, 2017
The MILWIT Eastern Area Rally will begin April 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. The rally ends on April 8, 2017 following the evening meal. All MILWIT members and others interested in joining the MILWIT special interest group are encouraged to fill out the registration form located on the MILWIT web site (www.MILWIT.org). Information on the qualifications for membership can be found on the web site.
The rally will be held in Foley, Alabama which is located in southwest Alabama. Some things you might like to explore are the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, the Mobile Mardi Gras Museum, the National Naval Aviation Museum, Pensacola Naval Base, the Gulf Shore beach and fishing pier, Tanger Outlet and numerous antique stores.
Campground and reservation Information: Johnny’s Lakeside RV Park, 15810 Hwy 59 North, Foley, AL.36535. Your camp site reservation must be made by calling 251-970-3773. The sites are full hookup at $35.00 per night. The rally is for five nights for $175.00. You can stay for 7 nights for the same amount $175.00.
There is a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT required by the RV Park - $35.00 for a 5 night stay, $50.00 for a 7 night stay. If you cancel 72 hours before your scheduled arrival, the campground will honor your reservation at a future date depending on availability.
MILWIT Rally Fee: $25.00 per person payable to Wayne Hagler, 278 Agnes Lane, Ozark, AL. 36360. The fee includes two dinners and four breakfasts prepared by your hosts. Please send in all fees by March 15, 2017. With your check, enclose a piece of paper with any of the following information that is not already imprinted on your check: name, address, telephone number (home/cell) and significant others cell number. Also include the name, address, telephone numbers (home and cell) of a family or friend, someone who is not traveling with you, to be notified in case of an emergency.
North Carolina State Rally

Theme: "Beach Party 2017"
The North Carolina Winnie TarWheels invite you to "Beach Party 2017" to be held April 28-30, 2017. We will gather at Camp Hatteras Resort, 24798 Highway 12, Rodanthe, NC 27968 http://camphatteras.com. This is the where we held our State Rally in 2013, and is a place where everyone had a great time then. Stop on your way home from Florida for a great weekend! Camp Hatteras is a pet friendly resort.
Entertainment: The Timeline Band
Barry Fedesco and his band are members of the Virginia Country Music Association. They have been playing in the Portsmouth and Hampton areas and Northeastern North Carolina for many years. They play venues like the Virginia Beach Farmers Market, Virginia Beach Campgrounds, and to audiences ranging in size from 20 to 250. Oh by the way, you loved them when they were at our Rally in 2013. They perform mostly old country, some new country, and rock n roll from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. They also play some beach music, can mix in a little Jimmy Buffet, the Eagles, and Merle Haggard along with others. Think about who you want to hear and then ask for it when they do their show on Saturday night.
Three catered meals will be provided by Leon Nixon Catering of Edenton. Dinner will be provided on Friday and Saturday evening and breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning. There will be a continental breakfast on Sunday morning
Rally fees include two nights of camping. Sites feature Full 30/50 Amp Hook Ups with Concrete Pads and Patios, Paved Roads, Cable TV, and Wi-Fi, and the meals indicated above. We have 70 sites reserved for the rally and may be able to lock in a few more if there is a demand for them. There will be games, money hats and 50/50 drawings, seminars, a silent auction, friendship walk, and vendors. We will have bingo on Friday evening and entertainment on Saturday evening.
Come early and enjoy pre-rally activities that include a golf outing on Thursday, charter fishing on Thursday or Friday, excursions on Thursday and Friday, and a covered dish dinner on Thursday night. Do some sightseeing in Hatteras, Ocracoke, Nags Head with its premium outlets, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk with its Wright Brothers Museum, or Manteo with its Roanoke Island. Or just hang out with good friends.

Pre-Rally Boat Party
John (Gus) Gustafson has checked on party boat options and learned that we would be able to go on a boat that is open to the public where there is no minimum number of people required. The cost of these half-day trips is $62 per person, and they depart at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. daily. They have inshore and offshore options. We are open to discussion on whether to go on Thursday or Friday. If you are interested in participating in one of these trips, please contact Gus at email@example.com to share your thoughts. Payment for fishing boat participation will be due prior to departure.
We are arranging for two guided tours. On Thursday, we are planning a trip to Jeanette's Pier in Nags Head. Cost for this event is $3 per person, payable on the day of the trip. On Friday, we are planning a trip to the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo. This event will be $9.61 (tax included) for groups of less than 20 and $8.54 (tax included) for groups of 20 or more. We will be holding a silent auction that will feature many new items and other items that are in very good condition. Please bring those items that have been sitting in your garage or attic that you no longer need. Your contributions will help us earn a few bucks for very worthy causes.
We will host a book sale / exchange so be sure to bring those books you’ve been using to collect dust and be ready to sell them or trade for other books.
Cake / Friendship Walk
We will conduct a Cake / Friendship Walk on Saturday afternoon and will need items to award for this event. Items should be in good taste and may also taste good. Suggested prizes are baked goods, wine, assorted candies, candles, and other items that would be welcomed by either gender.
Rally T-shirts will cost $16.00 per shirt for sizes S, M, L, XL. Sizes 2X and larger will be $18.00. Note that payment for T-shirts must be received by March 1st. Shirts will be available for pick up at the rally.

After thwarting pirates and other scurvy dogs at last year’s well attended rally the tired but successful band of folks decided for a more relaxing mood for the Northwest Regional Rally this coming May and will be hosting a Hawaiian themed rally.
There could possibly be Hula contests, along with indoor and outdoor games, a golf tournament, ice cream social, Bingo, beanbag baseball, craft competition, raffles, entertainment, seminars, vendors and dealers showing off their new coaches.
All veterans please bring a hat, jacket or other military service items to wear for the Memorial Day Service to be held on Saturday, May 20. All chapter members who have passed on will also be remembered at this service. A Sunday morning non-denominational service is scheduled prior to departure.
The sea shells (or other forms of barter) paid include three nights camping, Thursday’s social, hosted by the Fraser Valley Explorers, (wine, beer and soft drinks will be provided), Friday lunch and dinner, with a chance to wear your favorite flowered shirt, hula skirt or other Hawaiian attire, plus entertainment, Saturday lunch, dinner and fabulous prizes. What more could you ask for?
All 3 days of fun will cost:
160.00 sea shells (although US dollars preferred and easier to mail) for full hook-ups 2 per rig, $130.00 for single, extra people $35.00 per rig, extra nights $40.00 per night. Registrations paid after May 1, add $30.00 to appropriate fee. There are 160 sites available but only 139 have full hook-ups and will be assigned based on registration postmark. All sites have free Wi-Fi. Registrations over 139 will be assigned to sites with either 30 or 50 amp power, water using splitters but no sewer and will receive a rebate at registration at the event. Handicap parking needs MUST be requested on your registration form.

Thursday night is HOT DOG night, with all the trimmings and our annual big bingo night.
Friday, after the opening ceremony, seminars and vendors will be available. A special supper will be served, followed by our famous ice cream social. Bring your favorite bowl, or use one of ours, and feast on ice cream with all the toppings.
In the evening a rare opportunity for music - a Jam Session. If you play a musical instrument that you can bring, or like to sing along, join us in an evening Jam Session. Songs from folk of the past to new traditions will be on tap. Come and listen and/or sing along...lots of fun for all! If you are planning to participate, please add your musical instrument or write in 'sing-a-long' on the registration form for planning purposes.
Saturday the Bean Bag championship is scheduled followed by a wine and cheese party before a sit down dinner. The evening’s entertainment will be a Casino Night with “our money” - no gambling involved. Here is a chance to try casino type games with no regrets! A good time will surely be enjoyed!
We will be supporting two special charities this year: The Local Food Pantry - asking all to donate money or non-perishable food for the needy in Centre County (due to regulations we cannot accept food that is outdated) or the Juniata Pet Shelter - these animals are in need of pet food and monetary donations.

MILWIT Western Area Rally

The Military Winnebago International Travelers club (MILWIT) Western Area Rally & pre-Rally will be held June 12 – 20, 2017 at the Choctaw Resort, 3650 Enterprise Blvd., Durant, OK 74701. We are inviting any owner of a Winnebago RV product to join with us during this rally.
Bill Speer and Doug Cashmore will be co-hosting with our Host Carmine Liscio. This will be a great opportunity for us to gather prior to the MILWIT Annual Rally. Our plan is to provide a great rally for all MILWIT members and any Winnebago RV product owners who would like to join us.
The MILWIT rally fee will be $25.00 for each person. Children 16 and under will be free. The facility includes a swimming pool, movie theaters, and plenty of activities to occupy the children. There are three restaurants on site along with many amenities. We will have a meeting room & kitchen facilities that will be provided by our host, the Oklahoma Choctaw Resort. A more detailed itinerary will be posted on the MILWIT web site (www.MILWIT.org) prior to the rally.
All sites are drive thru on an 80 ft. concrete pad with full hookups (30-50 amps), the parking fee will be: $30.00 per night collected by the Resort at the time of check-in. New adventures to be had – this year the Iowa State Rally is moving to the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hampton, IA. Hampton is located just 60 miles south of Forest City. A great stop off place to get geared up for GNR. There will be new sites and sounds for everyone. We are still in the planning stages and will adding further details and events as they are finalized.

MILWIT National Rally

The Military Winnebago International Travelers (MILWITs) invites those persons who are active duty, reserve, or retired members of the Armed Forces of any nation to visit with us during our National Rally this year.
The Annual MILWIT Rally will once again be held during the Pre-GNR period starting July 11, 2017. As always, the hosts for this event are the MILWIT officers. When the date draws closer, and the plans start to form, we will have more information posted on the MILWIT web site (www.MILWIT.org) and will let you know more in the newsletter. Start thinking about what you would like to see and do during the Annual Rally and let me know your suggestions. We need to plan to have some sort of end-of-row display and I’m looking for ideas and people to help setting that up. Please contact me as soon as possible so those plans can be started.

It's time to focus on this year's WIT Singles Rally. Dates for our 2017 WIT Singles Rally are July 11-16 with GNR immediately following July 17-22. Our rally will begin on Tuesday, July 11, as club members begin arriving in Forest City, but there undoubtedly will be a few of us early birds who will appear before that date and will be scattered about town eagerly awaiting entry to the rally grounds!
Our rally theme for 2017 will be “Happy 30th Birthday, WIT Singles International Club.” Yes, our special interest club was chartered 30 years ago! We have had commemorative pins made specifically for our rally, and all current club members and all new club members who join during our Singles Rally or during GNR will receive this special, one-time pin.
The registration form and all details for GNR are included in the WIT Club News magazine. Be sure to read it thoroughly to get all the details you need. Fees for early camping, $15 per night, will be collected when you arrive on rally grounds---note that early camping is not included in the GNR fees. WIT Singles Club dues of $5 will also be collected when you arrive on site. If you are brand new to our club, there is an additional, one-time fee of $10 to join the club.
If you require 50 amp service, be sure to note that on your GNR registration form and also indicate that you would like to be parked near where the Singles are parked. Please note that our row has 30 amp service, but not 50 amp.

The Presidents Club wants to invite you to join them and mark these dates regarding their annual gathering during the Grand National Rally in Forest City, IA in July 2017. The annual Presidents Club Dinner will take place Sunday, July 16 at 7 p.m. (appetizers at 6:15 p.m.) at Waldorf University in the Salveson Hall Ballroom. There will be announcements, 50/50 raffle, door prizes and entertainment! Cost for non-members is $12.50 per person, cost for members is $7.50 per person. Not a member yet? The Lake Champlain WIT Chapter invites all WIT members to our rally at the Champlain Valley Exposition Fairgrounds, 105 Pearl Street, Essex Junction, Vermont. The rally theme is “Christmas in Vermont,” so bring your enthusiasm and holiday decorations - there will be a prize for the best decorated coach.
The cost, if paid by June 30th, for three nights camping, two catered dinners, one chapter prepared dinner, three breakfasts, and two nights entertainment is $185.00 per coach/two persons, single person $145.00. Additional people (over age six) is $50.00 per person. Availability to arrive early (Wednesday) and/or stay late (Sunday) for an additional $25.00 per night. All sites offer 30 amp electric and water hook-up. Shower facilities are available at the fairgrounds, but basic and very limited in number. If paid after July 1st, please add $10.00 to the above fees. Dump station is available for an additional fee of $15.00, payable at the event.
We will start off on Thursday evening with dinner prepared by the Club, and a chance to get acquainted. Friday morning we will prepare a pancake and sausage breakfast with all the fixings’ followed by opening ceremonies. There will be seminars available afterwards. Lunch, sightseeing and exploring on your own in the afternoon. Some of our suggestions would be a Lake Champlain cruise, Vermont Teddy Bear Factory Tour, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Tour & Tasting, the Echo Center, local brewery tours, Shelburne Farms and Shelburne Museum, just to name a few. Vermont Lake Monsters baseball team home games for those arriving early and who choose to attend. Friday evening we will have a catered dinner followed by entertainment. Saturday will start out with Ross’ famous breakfast sandwiches. Our Eastern Area WIT Representatives will host the “WIT Store,” as well as a Winnebago Outdoor Adventures Seminar later in the day. There will be local Maple products for sale at the best prices in Vermont! Lunch is on your own, but the rest of the day is chock full with an ice cream social; wine, cheese and beer tasting, catered roast beef dinner, and live entertainment. We will wrap up the weekend on Sunday morning with a continental breakfast, closing ceremonies and chapter meetings. Throughout the weekend there will be 50/50 drawings, a Vermont gift basket raffle (all products produced in Vermont) along with other chapter raffles, money hat raffle, games and prizes.

Virginia will hold its State Rally at the Rockahock Campground located just west of the Williamsburg – Jamestown – Yorktown Historic Triangle, an RV Resort on the banks of the Chickahominy River at Walker Dam located in Lanexa, Virginia. On site is a 4 Star Italian Restaurant.
Rally fees include 2 nights camping with full hook-ups, cable TV, Wi-Fi, 3 catered meals and a continental breakfast.
Registration received by August 1st - One rig [2 people] $175, one rig [1 person] $150. Additional guests over six are $31. Additional nights are $45.
Registration received after August 1st - One rig [2 people] $190, one rig [1 person] $165. Additional guests & night fees remain the same as above.
Meals - Thursday night will be a pot luck dinner for those wishing to participate. Friday night is catfish OR fried chicken [MUST SPECIFY CHOICE ON REGISTRATION], Saturday morning is a catered breakfast, and Saturday evening is pulled pork OR pulled chicken BBQ [MUST SPECIFY CHOICE ON REGISTRATION]. Sunday morning will be a continental breakfast.
Entertainment – Friday and Saturday night - TBD.
Pre-Rally activities – TBD.

Missouri State Rally
September 15-17, 2017
The Winnie-MO-Tasca Missouri State Club invites you to join us for the 2017 State Rally. Welcome To Fabulous Winnie-MO-Tasca will be held September 15-17, 2017 at the Coachlight RV Park in Carthage, MO. The rally fee is $125 per unit with 2 people. Included in the rally fee are 2 nights camping, Friday dinner, Saturday catered breakfast and dinner and Sunday continental breakfast. The campground cost for early arrivals will be $29 per night. In addition to all of the activities referred to below, the clubhouse will be the center for fun and games each evening and door prizes will be awarded throughout the weekend.
Join us early for pre-rally activities. The festivities will start on Wednesday, September 13 with a buffet dinner at nearby Downstream Casino. One can choose to stay at the casino a little longer or return to the campground for fun and games, which may not have quite the monetary reward, but have a lot less risk. On Thursday afternoon a craft class will be held. The participants will be making a wreath. The cost of the supplies will be announced at a later date.
Several other activities are planned. These include tours of the following destinations.
Red Oak II, the creation of “”Missourah’s”” homegrown, shade tree artist Lowell Davis. Take a trip to yesteryear and stroll along the gravel path to view the recreation of an early twentieth century county village, featuring a general store, county church, one room schoolhouse, town hall, a 1920’s cottage style Phillips 66 gasoline station, Marshall’s Office and much more. Civil War buffs will not want to miss the Carthage Civil War Museum. The museum presents artifacts and information about the Battle of Carthage and the Civil War in southwest Missouri. One of the state’s largest historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places, the driving tour is a self-guided leisurely look at the region’s most architecturally significant residences. The George Washington Carver National Monument, the Precious Moments Museum and the World's Largest Small Electric Appliance Museum; one man's epic collection of small electric appliances are also available to visit. And Historic Route 66, with many historic sites, runs through Carthage.
