"Likely" Leftover Chicken Tacos

From the kitchen of Nancy & John Jorgenson, W160926, of the Washoe Winnies of NV

  • 1 pound of shredded bits of left over BBQ chicken
  • 1 C lemonade
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 T lime juice
  • 1 ½ t Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ t garlic powder
  • ½ t onion powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ¼ t of oregano
  • ¼ t of ground cumin
  • ¼ t of red pepper flakes
  • ½ t salt

(Use more or less of the specified seasoning to satisfy your tastes)

1. In a large skillet or pot, over medium heat, combine chicken, lemonade, olive oil, lime juice, and Worcester-shire sauce. Add seasoning. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

2. Put out with taco shells, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream, chopped peppers, and chopped tomatoes for a taco bar.
